This book is inspired by the meals that the brothers and sisters of the ecumenical community of Bose in Italy share with their guests and the table prayers that always begin them. The book contains a daily table prayer for dinner and supper as well as a breakfast prayer, which can serve as a morning prayer in miniature format. In addition to suggestions for three table prayers during all days of the week, there are a few more prayers, including the alternately read table prayer that many recognize from retreats in Bjärka-Säby. With this book we are encouraged to make table prayer a natural part of our meals, and increasingly discover how everything we receive in thanksgiving becomes for us communion with God.
